The good news is Bree is sleeping and I have some down time. The bad news is this means she will be up really late tonight. Catch 22. But I am not about to wake her up. No way Jose.

Steve actually got home on time today. Imagine that! He is off across the street having a beer with the neighbor. He is such a nerd. When Dennis (the neighbor)knocked on the door Steve came around the corner with that smile (the smile that only his wife or mother would notice and recognize) He looked like a 8 year old who's friend is at the front door. Part of me was jealous. He used to get that smile when I came around. Now I'm just his boring ole wife. But, I also know that he needs friends. He can talk shop with him and they can do their guy thing. I could care less about concrete, brick, tile or whatever else they talk about. Stupid contractor stuff. I certainly don't want to hear about it. I mean, I do because he's interested in it but, you know... He don't want to hear about my new yarn and how soft it is!

Anyways, I've been working on getting and keeping the house clean. I'm really bad about that. So all week Id concentrate on getting one room really clean. Its Friday and the whole house is spotless!! Why cant people come over now? Too bad it wont stay spotless! I'm also trying to fold laundry as it comes out. Usually I just toss it on the couch and I always have a huge pile of clothes on the couch. Perfect place for the beagle to sleep! Grrr.

Speaking of the beagle. The dogs are driving me crazy. We have slowly been tearing all the carpet out. The only place we have carpet is in Bree's room and the bedroom. Guess where the dogs like to pee? AGH!!! I don't like the leave them outside all day because its 100 degrees out. I feel bad. They do have shade and the pool but still. But its so hot out that they just lay there. They don't want to get up to pee. So when I let them in they cool off and go pee on my carpet! Boogers. I just need to start taking them out. But who has time for that? That includes taking Bree out and getting her back in. Which causes a big ol meltdown. No thank you. LOL

I don't know if I've already mentioned this but my BIL and his wife are expecting! They are so cute. They remind me of Steve and I. I kinda have a love hate relationship with them. I think they would agree. But anyways, I'm excited for them. Now If I can just get my sister married and knocked up...

Bree is so funny. Everyday she says the funniest things. I really like this stage. Toddlers are so cute! Well, most of the time!

Im gonna go knit while I still have time.
