Hi! I read your blog daily and not sure how I stumbled across it :) but tell me about cloth diapering. My little one is 18 months and has a new itch that appears daily. Not a rash but an itchy spot that she scratches and then it gets all raised and irritated. I think it is the diapers. How do I clean them if I switch to cloth? Do I buy the plastic pant that goes over the cloth? Is cloth better for their skin? Thanks for the help from one great mom to another. April
Cloth is sooo fun! Email me at mrskatielittle@aol.com and Ill send you links of really cute diapers. :) You'll love them. They are totally easy.
Just wash them in the washing machine. (I have a sprayer to wash off all the poop so there isnt tons of poop in the washer and the hot water kill all the germs.) Its totally easy. I think cloth is better for thier skin. Which would you perfer to wear? Plastic is hot and itchy! YOu can get the plastic covers or use wool ( again, thre is some cute wool out there) or you can use fuzzi bunz. I started with fuzzi bunz and I love them! http://fuzzibunz.com/ Also check out the diapering board on MDC! I learned a lot there!
I could go on forever!!LMAO But Bree is crying. email me!! mrskatielittle is my AIM too!
Hi April! I agree with Katie your dd is gorgeous!!!
Cloth isn't fun it is a blast! LOL I have been using cloth off and on for 4 years now! My oldest son, Caden, is 2 yrs and I absolutely can not put him in a sposie for the same problem you have with your daughter! I highly recommend if you decide to try cloth to use fitteds (or prefolds) and wool covers. Wool breathes so much better then the plastic (known as pul). If you have any questions feel free to im me on AIM: CadenJames062503 or yahoo: nikkiraebelle. I can also give you some great links to stores and tons of suggestions! LOL

Another good resource is www.diaperpin.com.
Switching to cloth and deciding what you want to use can be really overwhelming, but it's worth it! Good luck!
