Notice how nice and stretchy the ribbing is in front. I must have redone it a million times! And I obviously used a different bind off than what the pattern called for. Then I forgot and didn't remember until I was done. Ha! And I don't know what I am doing to get such uneven edges. blah! It's ugly. But Its done! FINALLY! Now I can start another one! Yipeee!

I think it looks great! Is that the Tiny Birds pattern? That's what I used for my first soaker. I tried to crochet the ruffles on and they turned out looking completely stupid.
Katie, I don't think it looks that bad for a first attempt - honestly! Especially when you've never really knit something before that. :) Keep going - it'll get better as time goes on!
