I'm thankful that...
Its over! We had dinner at the inlaws. It went pretty well. My SIL is the most annoying person on the face of the earth but besides that it was fun.
Me and Steve got in a fight because I "don't give a shit about the holidays." I was raised Jehovahs Witness and never celebrated them so they don't mean anything to me. They are just another day to me. Take Christmas for example, it has NOTHING TO DO WITH JESUS!! Maybe its just his family...I don't know, I've never celebrated it. But all it is about with them is getting gifts . I admit, its fun. I like to give gifts but why wait until Christmas? What does Santa have to do with Jesus anyway? Ugh! And to Steve its this big thing. Time to act like you love family. But come Jan 1st its back to the same ol B.S.- Stupid!! I don't know. Why bother? Why be fake? I don't like his sister, she don't like me...Why pretend?
So he got all mad at me because his annoying sister said she was going to have a seating chart for thanksgiving. The woman has to control everything. I told Steve I wasn't going to eat because Bree is going to act like a toddler and I'm not going to sit at a table and try to make her act like an adult. So he got all pissy because I wont participate. ugh! We ended up working it out and everything went fine. I need to learn to accept his family for what they are and move on. I try to treat them just like I would my family. But I cant. Because If I have a problem with my family I can confront them and we fight and get over it. They are so darn sensitive that if I confront them they either turn it around on me or go cry in a corner or deny it. How can I move past it if they know they did it, I know they did it but they deny it!? aggghhh! It drives me crazy.
Anyways, I'm totally going on and on. Steve did have a point tho. He told me the Christian and right thing to do is to just keep forgiving them and loving them. So I guess I need to work on that, among other things! Ha!

Yes, she is. And loud and boisterous too.
I hate sister-in-laws!
